if you want to go when it's dry and warm the best time to go is in September and October. Summer can be hot and humid, but if you like a bit of a of a cold bite then winter is the go. China's winter from December to Febuary their summer is from May to August. TIP: if you want to go for the "Chinese New Year" you better book early to not be disappointed as is it is a busy time of year.
